Webcomics Update

Figured I should finally fill this page up with my own words. If you’re reading this, you’ve managed to find your way to Webcomics Update, my daily blog. Now, since this is the “About” page, I suppose I should tell you about it, right? Alright. The point of this blog is for me to, every day, usually first thing in the morning, go to every webcomic on the full list and see which ones have updated that day. Once I have determined that, I then comment on every page, as long as there are not bulk updates. And of course, since this is a public blog, I have an understanding that there are more comics than the ones that I check on, so I have an open invitation for anybody, reader or writer, to tell me about webcomics that I might want to add to the list.

Why do I do this? For a variety of reasons. The first, of course, is money. I won’t shrink from that. Today.com pays me a small amount of money for my daily posts and the traffic that I get from them. The second reason is self-advertisement, since my own webcomic, Let Boredom Reign, is included on the list of webcomics. Of course, my reasons aren’t entirely selfish. Other webcomics get advertisement as well, as well as a largely unbiased opinion on their work that either they or potential readers can see. And, of course, eventually, if I’m the person recording all of the webcomics updates, then people can simply check on my blog for new comics instead of looking through their own respective lists themselves.
