I woke up early today, which is actually pretty weird considering how late I stayed up. But I suppose that just means that I can get this done sooner.

Well, the team has now met their new boss, who is a bit stricter than their old one. For one thing, they now have to wear hats- despite not having a uniform hat. The hats that the team manages to find are varied and hilarious.

This would probably be funny if I had ever or even could play WoW, but right now, this is just weird.

A different methodology for tooth removal, masquerading as an old one. It may just be the violence, but I liked this page.

This comic’s version of Jane Goodall is awesome. I somewhat doubt that the real Jane would have that strong of an opinion of Steve Erwin, even if he were still alive.

I have no idea how it happened either, but I managed to wake up at six, allowing me to actually work my way through this whole list with time to spare. Considering that if the monotheists have got it wrong, there’s probably a god for absolutely everything, I’m putting my thanks to the gods of webcomics for that little miracle. And now- I shall begin.

I couldn’t have put my analysis of this page any better than the writer has- the characters have “successfully opened a file”. Although I do have to wonder if the apparant russian inclination towards crime has anything to do with their tendency to contain letters towards the end of the alphabet.

I really respect this guy. It really takes a good deal for a lot of people to admit that they’re wrong, and he did so quite peacefully.

Okay, so for those people (like me) who have no idea what a pyramid scheme is, I have helpfully hunted down a definition- “a fraudulent scheme in which people are recruited to make payments to the person who recruited them while expecting to receive payments from the persons they recruit; when the number of new recruits fails to sustain the hierarchical payment structure the scheme collapses with most of the participants losing the money they put in”. This basically means that the new people put in money into the business for the higher-ups to use, but then the whole thing falls apart and the higher-ups are the only people with money. Alternatively, it can also mean a very expensive pyramid.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a friendship of convenience. Things like that seem pretty inconvenient to me, really.

Okay, on this page, “cocoa moo” and “at least 78″ balance out in my annoyance/humor range. Besides that, this page does a wonderful job of bringing us pretty much up to speed on the setting without too many words.

No Need For Bushido

Normally, I’d say “NO!” to the phrase used in this, but hey, it’s Cho. Cho can get away with a lot of things.

Order of the Stick

I think I like these three. “We will help you… so that we may one day destroy all that is good! MWAHAHAHA!” Personally, I think it’s an obvious choice.

Today, Head Death talks to the secretary of the Paradox Department. By the looks of it, the secretary’s dialogue only makes sense when you look at the phrases backwards and as if the Head Death is leaving.

Well, because of me being sick, I took a nap and woke up around 10 pm. Then, I went to sleep again at 2 and have woken up at a reasonable time for once. Crazy how those things happen, isn’t it?

Cyanide and Happiness genuinely amused me. The gist of it was that it made fun of the giant eyes that guys give hot girls in cartoons.

Irregular Webcomic was actually amusing, despite having nothing to do with any part of the comic that I actually care about. It turns out that to get to the dragon sage, the Fantasy cast must go through a quest even more difficult than the one that they had been attempting before. Personally, of course, that Infinite Featureless Expanse of Terror sounds like a clincher for me. Infinite terror doesn’t sound like very much fun.

In Misfile, I must assume that Emily has talked to her mom and that there has been a timeskip to when they’re back in school.

In Mysteries of the Arcana, beyond the epicness of the reactions from both sides of their first kiss, I’m happy to see that things appear to be speeding up- Chrys’ mother and uncle have officially been… acknowledged, which widens the scope of things considerably. This page also contains Chibi-Win.

I didn’t really understand SMBC. Oh, well.

In S*P, Mike finds out that his old employer is back in business. Not only did said employer leave without giving Mike a few paychecks, but has apparantly been giving discounts to people if they don’t tell Mike about it.

I think that the whole idea behind today’s Biff is that the magic mirror has been taking his pills. Probably.
