—————-

Wow, I’ve got a big list to go through this morning. Oh, yeah- and I’ve started getting up earlier. Just to do this. Yeah. THAT is how dedicated I am. And I’m also going to be paying closer attention to what I’m typing, too, since I had so many typos on that last page.

Ctrl-Alt-Del was funny. Lilah and Ethan are trying to set up a second wedding on a budget, since they’ve blown a good deal of their wedding money on the first one and the renovations for GameHaven. However, there seems to be one compromise that Ethan is not quite so willing to make. He was really looking forward to that cake.

CAD Sillies was very heavy on the Church of Gaming shtick, in homage to Winter-een-mas. The first one seems a little naive. The second… I can’t disagree with.

I liked Irregular Webcomic today. The panther, whose name continues to escape me, points out that Paris is not longer a ghost. Really, though, everyone’s a ghost, so it seems like everyone’s normal. How that guy got onto the crew of a spaceship, I’ll never know.

This is my first Luke Surl update, and I have to say first and foremost that I rather enjoyed looking through the archives, especially the Shakespearean jokes, of which there were plenty. On today’s comic, it featured a knock-off of an old fairytale- The Boy Who Cried Wolves. However, I think it could have been improved by the wolves doing something other than just standing there. Doing something to make the boy cry, for example. After all, who doesn’t love a never-ending cycle?

Misfile has another update today, and it’s a good one. Now that it’s the second time around, Emily has opened her eyes to the fact that the colleges really aren’t all that interested in her, but in the money she’d have to pay to enroll there. Her mom, of course, doesn’t understand her daughter’s change of heart.

Order of the Stick was probably my favorite webcomic today, for one very simple reason. I like dragons. It’s one of my big preferences in life. Oh, yeah, and V is screwed. Thought I should mention that.

SMBC I didn’t get at all. How is burying a clown alive at all similar to burying a coin for good wealth? I mean, they have no value, right? (kidding on that last bit, of course)

It’s kind of interesting seeing someone’s argument backfire over something so stupid. Monette seems to have successfully argued that her girlfriend does pull her weight around the house, and even was given a task that she had not accomplished. But Hot Pockets? Seriously? I lived off of those for awhile, and now I hate them.

This is my first update of The Book of Biff as well, a webcomic that I had picked up awhile back and just stopped reading because I forgot about it. Biff is not in my daily vocabulary, so reminders never came up. Today’s comic wasn’t exactly funny, but it did make me jealous. I want that kind of service in a restaurant!

Last up on the list is another newcomer, Union of Heroes. It’s an extremely well-done photowebcomic about superheroes in Germany. I’ve gotten it, however, in the middle of a guest comic stream, which I will insist on commenting on regardless. Today’s guest comic gave a “modern” opinion on heroes. My response? Yes. Those are “heroes”. People to look up to, people that you want to be one day. “Superheroes” are the people that take on the things normal heroes cannot, which normal people can’t be one day. However, I have to admit that we seem to be doing alright without them.

—————–

For the information of whoever checks this out, I will not necessarily be restricted to this list. Simply give the name and perhaps the link of whatever webcomic you want me to look at, and depending on what’s going on in my life and the length of the comic archive, I should be recording its updates within a week.

Thanks for reading,
SoySauce
