So it looks like a pretty slow day. Girly has successfully uploaded, to my personal relief. The last few pages have been rather annoying, but with the dynamic duo back on screen, I hope that things will be able to be cleared up quickly. Frankly, I’ve never really liked Collette much, so the idea of completely relying on her to fill in exactly “WHAT HAPPENED HERE!?” really bugged me.

Irregular Webcomic, which I hear has an enormous backlog of pages, has also updated. The style that was used, to my mind, was a little overdone. It consisted of five lines of the Head Death’s face zooming out to take in a few more Deaths before taking a look at the entire cast of characters. If this had been cut down to 1-3 lines, I think that the style could have still been preserved without becoming quite as tiring, since I have to admit that it was interesting that the end of the world blackout (which took up the last nine days) then turned into another effect. Finally, it gets to something both important and entertaining, at which point the Head Death demands to know who’s to blame for causing the end of the world. Three people immediately deny involvement.

This was a bad day for SMBC. It seems to involve a bunch of women coming to save a bunch of men who had been marooned on an island, only to find out that the men had replaced sex (along with a whole other list of things) with handshakes. As per usual, the votey was actually more funny than the actual comic, but then again, that might just be because my funny bone likes mindless violence.

Something Positive is still moving slowly, but at least now it seems to be moving in a direction towards plot. The main character, Davan, is back in action, asking one of his best friends to act in a play. The play happens to be one that Davan was forced to write for his actually quite nice boss, who is a bigshot in theatre. It’s still unknown what the play is going to actually about, but I’m sure that one way or another, it’s going to be hilarious.
